Musical Revues

In more than 20 years since, PGT Entertainment has not only kept pace with the evolving tastes of an increasingly sophisticated audience, it has become a leading producer of musical revues and theatrical entertainment worldwide. The company applies its casting, musical, choreographic, set and lighting design, scenic design and management skills to create and run everything from Broadway Style shows, light opera and musical comedy. Based on it’s commitment to the high standards of creativity, musical and choreographic integrity, PGT Entertainment is among the trend setters, staking out new ground in entertainment and deploying its versatile production expertise in a variety of theatrical settings.

ON A CLASSICAL NOTE is the first production show of its kind to be presented by PGT Entertainment. It incorporates the music of master composers such as Mozart, Verdi, Rossini, Puccini and many others. Lighter moments are captured in the operettas of Gilbert and Sullivan and with the crazy antics of the Barber Of Seville. But it is the music of La Traviata, La Boheme and The Marriage Of Figaro that really captures the imagination and will instill in the audience the experience of a night of Grand Opera, the excitement building all the way through until its climatic finale; the rousing “Toreador March” from Carmen by Georges Bizet.  LULLABY OF BROADWAY is a spectacular tribute to the Broadway stage that includes music from blockbuster shows such as Les Miserables, Cats, 42nd Street and a contemporary take on West Side Story. Once our rousing Overture is complete the show opens with an interesting take on Cole Porter’s “Another Op’nin,’ Another Show,” offering a look at what goes on behind the scenes, and is injected with humor when our stressed out director has to leave the stage. The show then builds through a myriad of contemporary and classic Broadway material until the spectacular 42nd Street Finale, which brings the evening to a close in this superlative tribute to the Broadway stage.
COUNTRY ROADS is designed to appeal to the Nashville novice and die-hard country fan alike. A lively opening number set to Barbara Mandrell’s “I’ll Be Your Jukebox Tonight” and Alan Jackson’s “Don’t Rock The Jukebox” kicks off this energetic revue that journeys through Country Music. A Country Fair with dance numbers abound and comedic country songs allow a short story to be told, followed by audience participation in the famous “Achy Breaky Heart” line dance. A beautiful medley of country favorites is next, which features contemporary country hits of the past few years, by the likes of Hank Williams Jr., Mary-Chapin Carpenter and Shania Twain. Our finale scene, featuring “Rock This Country” and our theme song, “Country Roads” is an energetic production number that is guaranteed to delight all ages and musical tastes alike.  OH WHAT A NIGHT is a new music revue filled with the music of pop icons such as The Four Seasons, Billy Joel, Simon and Garfunkel, Ray Charles, Neil Diamond and many more. The show’s title song, Frankie Valli’s “Oh What A Night,” opens the show and is followed in quick succession by disco hits such as “Get Down Tonight” and “I Love The Nightlife", and the music of Billy Joel and Elton John can be heard in the scene dedicated to “Piano Men,” complete with “blazing piano” during the Jerry Lee Lewis hit, “Great Balls of Fire.” The show ends with a patriotic pop/rock tribute to the people of America. Infused with metallic confetti and pyrotechnic flashes, the music of Bruce Springsteen, James Brown and Neil Diamond bring the production to a colorful, breathtaking conclusion.
